Family

The family reunion on Bens's side of the family was a blast! We went camping for 2 days in Payson Canyon at Blackhawk campground. It's the first time we've gone camping in 2 years. We kept waiting for Remy to get older, in fear that she might fall in the fire pit.

When the kids got back from their hike, Caprice handed me a beautiful, perfectly arranged bouqet of wildflowers, that she had carefully held on to, as not to bend any of them. I told her how sweet that was of her to think of me. Then Beck came up to me and said, "Here mom, I got you some flowers too," and pulled some smushed flowers out of his pocket, and proudly handed them to me. It was so cute- we decided to display the flower arrangement as a centerpiece.

Saige and Cokie playing "hit the beachball through the goals, using only styrophone noodle light sabers.

Remy handing me one of the millions of these yellow flowers, which were everywhere (it must of been what made my allergies flare up!)

The light saber game turned out to be a game where all the adult males hogged the ball, to prove their manliness, and all the kids tried to get a chance at the ball.

Caprice and Cokie proudlly showing off their Monarch butterfly, which they oh-so- stealthfully caught in this cookie box.

It was a fun campout. Lot's of great company. Bens entertained the kids with a fun cardgame called BANG, I got out some paints and let the kids paint some wood shapes, went hiking, and played some games.
