Since Benson has been called as Ward Missionary Leader 2 years ago, we've had the missionaries over for dinner many times. He is in charge of getting people to sign up in the ward to host the missionaries over for dinner. Sometimes he forgets to get the sign-up around in time, and we inevitably end up hosting them for one of the nights. Which actually has been a good experience for our family. I think the kids have enjoyed getting to know their different personalities, and hopefully has left an impression on Beckhem, who needs more male influences in his life (living in a house full of sisters).
When we just recently hosted the missionaries over for dinner, Caprice decorated the table with our fancy wine glasses. So we all had fun dipping our fingers in the water and rubbing them around the rim of the glasses , to see if they would really make a whistling noise. To our surprise, they did.
